When disaster strikes, it's hard to know where to turn or who to trust. Your insurance company may default to a large chain company, but the decision is yours.  Start by asking for a list of vendors instead of just one.

SRS is proud to work with various insurance companies, and we're happy to take that burden off of you. No matter what company you choose, here are some key considerations in choosing a remediation company:

1. Local reputation. Ask those closest to you for a trustworthy recommendation.
2. Work with companies that will engage with insurance companies and assist with claims on your behalf.
3. Read Google and Yelp reviews. While there may be a negative review, it may not accurately reflect the true quality of the work done by the company.  Look at the overall impression and form your own opinions.
4. Check with your local neighborhood Facebook group for suggestions.
5. Check the IICRC directory.
